Battery heated gloves are ideal for motorcyclists, skiers, fishermen, and snowmobilers, etc. The gloves are made out of different types of materials and generally come with a soft and warm insulation that also pads the gloves. Some models are waterproof and/or windproof. Most of them are also adjustable and come with a small lithium facts-ion battery in each glove that heats them up.

If your PC is older then a low battery could be a nightmare. I had a PC which once every few months refused to boot. Rather than take the PC in for repair or start replacing parts myself the first thing I did was look at the BIOS settings. It was soon obvious that the BIOS settings were corrupt (wrong bus speed). I put a volt meter on the battery and sure enough it was reading 2.2 volts.
Now you want to discharge the battery. If you disable the hibernation setting or anything else that might make the computer go into power saving mode, it would be better. Let the computer run until it shuts down due to loss of battery power, then turn it back on.
